Breathing Exercises

Breathing is the most underrated exercise for relaxation. It is the most easiest and quickest for relief!

De-stress and release anxiety with concentrated breathing.

Take 2-15 minutes from your day & try one of these techniques:

  1. Focused breathing Find a comfortable place to sit and close your eyes. Inhale with calm intentions & exhale with intention of release.

  2. Diaphragmatic breathing Find a comfortable place to lie on your back with a pillow for your head. Place your one hand on your upper chest and other below rib cage. Start a long deep breath through nose while keeping hands still. Keep long breathing for 5 to 10 minutes.

  3. Nostril breathing Find a comfortable place to sit upright. Using one hand, while breathing, inhale closing one nostril with pinky and an exhale closing other side with thumb. Continue breathing cycle for up to 5 minutes.

  4. Sitali breath Yoga breathing technique using mouth Find a comfortable place to be seated upright. Curl your tongue bringing outer edges to center creating an “o”. Begin inhaling through mouth and exhaling through nose. Continue for 5 minutes breathing with intention
